When we work out, we think about reps and sets where we execute specific exercises. Why not? Most people are so focused on contracting and elongating the muscle that an isometric hold in a way “goes against the grain” of how we have learned to work out. I’m willing to bet 95% of people reading this have never included them as part of their arm training. Have you ever done isometric holds before during your workout?
